Sakura Pilot Plant

Sakura Pilot Plant Reactor

Vessel Capacity: Features vessels of up to 100 Liters (L).

Purpose: Designed as a premium pilot reactor, offering the highest level of performance for scaling up chemical processes.

Features:

  • Robust and Easy-to-Use: Built for demanding industrial and research environments.
  • Superior Vessel Geometry: Engineered for optimal thermal control and process efficiency, mimicking glass-lined stainless steel industrial reactors for intuitive scale-up.
  • Cyclone Vessel Technology (Standard): This proprietary design induces cyclonic flow of heat transfer fluid within the jacket, ensuring uniform heat distribution for improved process efficiency.
  • Ring Baffle Vessel Technology (Optional Upgrade): For even more precise temperature control, this proprietary technology features circular baffles within the oil jacket to induce uniform flow of heat transfer fluid, enhancing thermal exchange.
  • High-Performance Stirring: Offers a choice of three different stirrers: anchor, retreat curve impeller, and their proprietary Molepaw design. The Molepaw is an innovative wing-shape design suitable for challenging reactor conditions, improving mixing times and allowing for very low minimum volumes (as little as 3% liquid).
  • Liftless Stirrer Coupling: Eliminates the need to lift heavy stirrer motors, making stirrer removal quicker and safer.
  • Easy Vessel Removal: Designed for less time and labor; the vessel or lid can stay in place while the other is removed, and a purpose-built trolley can assist with heavy vessel maneuvering.
  • Removable Bottom Outlet Valve: Features a novel run-off design to prevent deposit formation and allow thorough cleaning.
  • Torque-Limited Vessel Clamps: Include intuitive indicators to protect glassware from overtightening.
  • Ancillary Glassware: Supports a wide range of applications with the ability to mount ancillary equipment directly to the frame, including condensers, reflux splitters, collection flasks, and dropping funnels.
  • Automation Integration: Seamlessly pairs with the AGI Glassplant Pilot Reactor Controller for full workflow automation, precise control, and replicability.
  • Temperature Range: Capable of operating from -90°C to +235°C.
  • Vessel Types: Available with double or triple wall vessels.
